AWARD winning Herefordshire businesswoman Heather Gorringe, founder of Wiggly Wigglers and Great British florist, will be the speaker at the next meeting of Wednesday Club, the networking group for businesswomen held at the University of Worcester.

During the event on Wednesday, March 4, Mrs Gorringe of Blakemere, near Hereford, will talk about her passion for rural communities, being a farmer’s wife and running two businesses. Also ladies will have the opportunity to find out more about International Women’s Day, which is being held at the University on Friday, March 6.

The club is a forum that gives members and attendees the opportunity to market their business, expand business connections and discover new ways to grow their business. Any female business professionals can attend the event, which starts at 5.30pm and offers a relaxed friendly environment, the cost being £15 for members and £20 for non-members. A two course supper followed by tea/coffee is included in the price.

A raffle will be held during the evening with all proceeds going to the club’s nominated charity at this event, Worcester Rape and Sexual Abuse. Raffle prize donations are welcomed.

Places are limited and to book call Wednesday Club event organiser Andrea Palmer on 07786 437189 or email: meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk
