.THERE'S a new shop in Evesham where dog owners can get their best friend's Christmas presents.

Run by 23-years-old Louise Bennett, the Pawfect Place operates from Blackminster Business Park and sells natural foods, treats and chews as well as beds, toys, clothing, leads, harnesses, grooming supplies and accessories for dogs, cats and small pets.

"I have three dogs, Miss Bennett explained. "Toby, a three year old rescue chihuahua, Millie, a two year old papillon and Jack, a one year old Australian Shepherd. I took part in the New Enterprise Allowance scheme, which gave me training in running my own business and provided me with a business mentor from The Prince’s Trust. I traded on market stalls for a year, selling my own line of natural meat jerky treats for dogs under the name Toby & Millie’s Doggie Bakery. I am now studying for an online diploma in dog nutrition from the British College of Canine Studies.

"We won’t stock anything you can find in the supermarket as we want to provide an alternative to the mass produced pet market. We support local craftspeople by selling their pet related creations in our shop."
