A BUSINESSMAN man with a passion for encouraging enterprise will be bringing one-to-one business support and executive coaching skills to high streets throughout Worcestershire as part of the Barclays Business in Banking Halls programme.

Bromsgrove-based Rob Cartwright launched 306 Consulting with the help of innovative start-up programme Ready for Business and will be helping small and medium sized business owners and budding entrepreneurs realise the potential of their own enterprises by hosting a series of pop-up consulting shops in branches of Barclays across the area.

Before launching 306 Consulting, Mr Cartwright worked for many years at director level in the financial services sector and now offers local enterprises support in unlocking leadership effectiveness, developing robust performance management routines and increasing employee engagement. He will be hosting half day drop-in consulting sessions at branches of Barclays in Droitwich, Worcester and Bromsgrove throughout November, which will offer an informal introduction into the range of business support services offered by 306 Consulting.

Despite being involved in business support for many years, when it came to launching his own venture Mr Cartwright was still keen to seek all the help and advice available. He said: “I understood the importance of ensuring that I received the right sort of start-up advice to get my business up and running. I knew just how crucial it would be to have someone on my side to challenge me on key decisions, offer an alternative perspective and to make sure that no stone had been left unturned.”
