LADIES, or in these enlightened days even the odd gentleman, who aren't sure what to do with old bottles of nail polish now have the answer.

Because Worcester business Love All About Me, which operates from salons in Warndon Villages and St Martin's Gate Quarter, is collecting them in support of the city's St Richard's Hospice.

Business director Amy Austin explained: "St Richard's Hospice family support team is running a project called Dragonfly Group. This is for bereaved children, young people and their parent/carer. They are going to be painting dragonflies on pebbles at their Christmas party. We are running a ‘nail polish amnesty’ at both our salons, where members of the public can bring in old nail polishes. Although the polish tends to go 'gloopy' after a while, making it not good for painting nails, it is still perfect for the Dragonfly Group.

"We will then deliver all the old polish bottles to the hospice. In addition if anyone wants to buy a new polish, if they bring in an old one, they will receive a 15 per cent discount ,which we will donate to St Richard's."
